Video Wall Launched in Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MOHUA)

Pulse Polio Programme 2019 Launched
India was declared Polio-free in 2014.The government has now launched the Pulse Polio Programme 2019, to administer polio drops free of cost to children below five years of age.
Third IT Corridor Launched in China by India
India launched the third IT corridor in China to facilitate partnerships between Indian and Chinese companies. The other 2 IT corridors in Dalian and Guiyang have resulted in partnerships and investments worth USD 4.6 million and USD 8.9 million, respectively. The IT corridor project between the two countries will result in strengthening India-China Digital Cooperation.
E-cigarettes Banned in 12 Indian States
Though the general notion is that electronic cigarettes are less harmful than normal cigarettes, the Indian government feels that this could result in a new generation of smokers. The ban on all Electronic Nicotine Delivery Systems (ENDS) was imposed by the government in August, 2018. Following that, now 12 Indian states have banned ENDS or e-cigarettes.
