Six Time World Champion Mary Kom
Indian boxer Mary Kom created history after winning her sixth World Championship title on November 24, 2018. She took the gold in the World Boxing Championship in the light flyweight 48 kilogram category by defeating Ukraine's Hanna Okhota, 5-0.
11,000 Run Milestone in Ranji Trophy
Ace Indian domestic cricketer, Wasim Jaffer became the first Indian batsman to touch the 11,000-run figure in the Ranji Trophy. He achieved the number during the third round of the 2018-2019 Ranji Trophy between Vidarbha and Baroda on November 21, 2018.
BWF World Junior Badminton Championship
India’s Lakshya Sen settled for bronze after being defeated by Thailand's Vitidsarn in Markham, Canada. The 17-year-old fared 22-20, 16-21, 13-21 against Vitidsarn in a match that lasted an hour and 11 minutes.
T20 International: India and Australia
India won the third T20 international by six wickets on November 25, 2018. The series ended at 1-1 after Australia won the first match and second was called off.
62nd National Shooting Championships
The championships for rifle, and pistol are being held at the Vattiyoorkavu shooting ranges in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The event began on 16th November and will conclude on December 7.
ICC Women's World T20
India lost the Semi Final to England by 8 wickets, on November 23, 2018. The final match was played between Australia and England on November 25, 2018. Australia took home the championship after defeating England by 8 wickets.
ICC T20 World XI Women
The World XI team consists of three players from England, two from Australia and one each from Pakistan, New Zealand and the Windies. India's Smriti Mandhana, Poonam Yadav and Harmanpreet Kaur complete the squad. Harmanpreet Kaur has also been named the captain of the World XI. Bangladesh’s new-ball bowler Jahanara Alam has been named the 12th player.
