China is developing an advanced compact size radar for the Navy. This radar will be able to maintain constant surveillance over an area the size of India. This ship-based Over-the-Horizon (OTH) radar system will increase the Chinese Navy's information gathering capabilities in critical areas.

A New World Found in Space

China's Lunar Rover Named Yutu 2

China successfully deployed a lunar rover on January 3, 2019. Named Yutu 2, it touched the lunar surface at 10:22 p.m. local time on January 3, 2019. China successfully tested its most powerful non-nuclear weapon. The media is calling it the Chinese version of the Mother of All Bombs, in comparison to an American one used in Afghanistan in 2017. The bomb is five to six metres long (16 to 20 feet), but weighs less than the American version.
