Expected Questions for AFCAT 2020: Crack the exam in 1st attempt
Air Force Common Admission Test 2020 is conducted twice every year. The first session of AFCAT scheduled on 22nd and 23rd February was conducted successfully. However, the interview process for the same has been postponed due to the COVID- 19 outbreak. For the second session to be conducted in August, the exam dates are August 24 and 25.
The AFCAT exam consists of 100 questions with 300 marks.

AFCAT General Awareness Section
3-4 questions from the History section based on ancient, medieval and modern history.
5-8 questions from the Geography section based on topics like Forests, Land Forms, Deserts etc.
2-3 questions from the Economics section based on topics like world economy and Indian economy.
3-4 questions from Scientific Research based on topics like Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Maths.
3-4 questions from General Policy including topics like Fundamental Rights, Directive Principles and more.
AFCAT English Section
3-4 questions based on Reading Comprehension with a passage related to topics like Demonetization, Literature and more.
3-5 questions based on ParaJumbles or Sentence Jumbles.
9-10 questions based on Fill in the blanks, error spotting, phrase replacement etc.
From the vocabulary section, one can expect 3-4 questions on spellings, 4-5 questions on cloze tests, 4-5 questions on Idioms, 7-8 questions on Synonyms and Antonyms.
AFCAT Numerical Ability section
2-3 questions from Algebra based on topics like graphs of linear equations, elementary surds etc.
2-3 questions from topics like simplification, geometry and mensuration.
1-2 questions from Profit & Loss section
1-2 questions from Speed, Time and Distance
3-4 questions from Time & Work and Percentages
AFCAT Reasoning and Aptitude section
4-6 questions from Analogy based on topics like semantic, numbers or plane figures.
3-4 questions from topics like classification
2-3 questions from Series
4-5 questions from Venn diagram
15-18 questions from non-verbal sections like a mirror image, embedded figures, water image, cubes and dice, counting figures and more.
