Candidates who are going to appear for this exam will face a number of challenges this year, and here we are going to highlight some. Candidates should carefully observe these changes and be ready.

Overall high cutoff expected this year:

Take a look at last year’s notification and this year’s notification.

We have highlights one of the major change which will have a significant impact on the overall cutoff.

In the previous exam of SBI Clerk Prelims (2016), the candidates who qualified for Mains were approximately 20 times the number of total vacancies.

This year (2018), this number will be 10 times the number of total vacancies.

The difficulty level of the exam plays a critical role in deciding the overall cutoff. However, if there is no significant change in the difficulty level of the exam then candidates can expect high cutoff (Higher than previous year SBI Prelims cutoff).

Surprises are expected in each section

This year, there will be a fixed time to attempt each section (20 minutes each). So, there is a high probability that the difficulty level of the questions (more than 50% questions) will be quite high.

It also means that there will be a variety of questions in each section (i.e., from low difficulty level to very high difficulty), different from the previous year.

Attempting all questions (in each section) of SBI Clerk Prelims 2018 online exam will not be a piece of cake. So, after downloading admit card for prelims of SBI Junior Associates Recruitment 2018, every candidate need to work harder.

More difficult questions are expected:

There will be no interview for the recruitment of Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) in clerical cadre in SBI.

As there is no interview so we can expect that

  • Phase 1: Preliminary Exam
  • Phase 2: Main Exam
  • Test of Specific opted local language
