May 6- May 12 is celebrated as Nurses Week every year.
It is the 200th birth anniversary of Florance Nightingale this year. She is also known as "The Lady With the Lamp" and regarded as the founder of modern nursing.
The theme for International Nurses Day 2020 is "Nursing the World to Health".
