The Institute of Banking Personnel conducts a common examination for all the candidates applying for the post of Specialists Officer. Candidates looking for a reputed position of IT Officer, HR, Agricultural Officer, Law Officer, Rajyasabha Adhikari and Marketing Officer in the Indian Government banks can apply for IBPS SO 2019 examination.
The IBPS SO 2019 examination will be held in three stages:
- Prelims
- Mains
- Interview

The Preliminary test- Stage 1 of the IBPS SO examination will be held on 28th and 29th December 2019.
The IBPS SO Mains examination will be conducted on 25th January 2020.

IBPS Specialist Officer 2019 Prelims Exam Pattern

For the entire pattern of IBPS SO, sectional timings were introduced for 2018 which are expected to be followed for 2019 as well.
The candidate is expected to qualify each test as the sectional & overall cut-off is considered.
For the Prelims examination, 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

IBPS Specialist Officer 2019 Eligibility Criteria
Minimum age limit to apply for IBPS SO 2019 examination is 20 years.
Maximum age limit to apply for IBPS SO 2019 examination is 30 years.
The candidate must be born not earlier than 02.11.1998 and not later than 01.11.1998
OBC candidates get an age relaxation of 3 years for posts reserved.
SC/ ST candidates get an age relaxation of 5 years for posts reserved.
PwD candidates get an age relaxation of 10 years.
Ex-Servicemen including ECO/ SSCO get an age relaxation of 5 years.
Candidates affected by 1984 riots get an age relaxation of 5 years.
Candidates domiciled in Kashmir between 1st January 1980 and 31st December 1989 get an age relaxation of 5 years.
