NEET 2020 Exam Date Announced


NEET- The entrance examination for all the medical aspirants was postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak. However, the new dates for the examination have been announced now. The National Entrance Cum Eligibility Test conducted by the National Testing Agency will be conducted on July 26, 2020.


HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal in his live webinar announced the dates for both NEET 2020 and JEE MAIN 2020 examinations. 


More than 16 lac candidates will be appearing for the NEET 2020 examination. Considering the present situation, it is possible that the NEET 2020 admit cards may be released about a week or 10 days ahead of the examination. It is considered that the National Testing Agency would be releasing the complete schedule for the NEET 2020 examination. It is likely that the NEET 2020 admit cards may be released by the end of June or in the first week of July.

HRD Minister Pokhriyal has interacted with candidates in this live webinar over social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter. He advised the students to utilize this time in studying from home and making the most of online study material for their exam preparation.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) had announced to extend the online application form editing option of NEET 2020. It has allowed candidates to choose the exam centre of their choice in order to minimise any commute for the examinees and their parents.


Along with this, Pokhriyal mentioned that the dates for 10 and 12 class will also be announced soon.
