Quick Tips for CLAT 2020 Data Interpretation

    Post Revision by

    Neha Gore

As the CLAT examination pattern has changed, candidates are paying as much attention as possible when it comes to various scoring sections like Data Interpretation. With the sample paper released by the CLAT official site, it is certain that the Data Interpretation section would be full of questions based on Tables, Pie Charts, Bar Graph, Line Graph and more.

CLAT 2020 preparation with Eduwhere Mock Tests

Let's take a look at some quick tips to do well in the Data Interpretation section for CLAT 2020 exam.

    1. Get your basics clear from one single book rather than several available options. The best pick for books can be RS Aggarwal with Data Interpretation and Magical Book Series Data Interpretation by K Kundan.
    2.  Focus on gaining speed while solving questions related to Data Interpretation, hence work hard on your basics.
    3. As the paper will be consisting of paragraphs and passages, read the statement and the options along with the instructions carefully before you begin.
    4. In the questions asked with tabular data, you may be given extra rows and columns just for confusion. Solve such questions carefully.
    5. Make it a habit to check the units before marking questions as missing a single-digit can lead to a completely different answer.
    6. Verify whether the data is given in percentage or decimal as both are different when calculated.
    7. Always try solving previous years papers to get a detailed idea regarding the difficulty level of the questions.
    8. Take up mock tests and test your time while you are solving the paper.

YOUR DAILY ROUTINE 30 DAYS BEFORE EXAM

With only 30 days in hand before the examination, you need to prepare a daily routine that will help you cover all the topics for your upcoming JEE Main Exam. A routine will help you prepare with relatively less stress and in an organized manner. Before devising a daily routine, make sure you are thorough with the syllabus as well as the new pattern. These two are important for planning a routine. Here are a few suggestions from our end to help you score well.

    TAKE CARE OF YOU

With so much negativity around with almost no certainty, the first and foremost thing that you need to do is take care of yourself. Please maintain a healthy lifestyle by sleeping and eating on time and staying fit. A healthy lifestyle is a door to a high concentration level of mind. Don’t stress yourself.

    GET CONCEPTUALLY SOUND

It is very important to be sure that you are conceptually sound of all topics of the upcoming Engineering Entrance Exam. If you have any doubts in any chapter, make sure to clear those doubts with some help.

    REVISING NOTES

Go through notes taken down by you every day. Divide the chapters based on their difficulty for 25 days. Make sure to follow revising your allocated chapters for that particular day. Most of the answers to the questions are formula-based and it is difficult to retain the memory of formulas every day. Thus, divide the formulas into small portions for revision every day.

    MOCK TESTS

Take up a mock test everyday. There are numerous mock tests available on Eduwhere.in. You can apply for Eduwhere Edge Pass which is available at Rs 99 for 1 month and Rs 199 for 3 months. Through this pass, you open yourself a pandora’s box of Mock test for JEE 2020. Through these mock test, you can devise the right question-solving approach for each kind of question.

    PAPER ATTEMPTING STRATEGY

This is a very important aspect for securing good marks in JEE Main Exam. By attempting a mock test every day, you may devise a variety of strategies and choose the best of the rest. Solving the entire paper without the right strategy will mess up your mind. It is advisable to attempt Chemistry section first as they are more subjective and require less calculation and thus less time to solve. This will give you more time for the other two sections.

    GROUP STUDY

JEE Main is an important Engineering Entrance Exam for securing admission to some of the best Engineering Colleges of India. Thus, preparations for this exam should be done thoroughly. Good preparation is a relative term and thus can be measure only by comparison. So make sure to have some video-based group study with other candidates. Here are a few benefits of group study that you might want to consider if you are not opting for it:

    • Studying in a group helps a lot in clearing doubts.
    • You can also have an idea of other’s paper attempting approach and how it is better or worse than yours.
    • Through group study, you get into a competitive environment where you can determine where you stand in your preparation for JEE Main Exam.
    • Last but most important is that studying in a group is less stressful and more learning with a fun concept that helps you learn well.

How to deal with the CLAT Logical Reasoning section?

    Post Revision by

    Neha Gore

Logical Reasoning is a very crucial section of the CLAT Exam 2020. This section tests the reasoning and understanding ability of the candidates. This section can be considered as one of the easiest section of the exam and can be a score booster. Logical Reasoning section can also be a time-saving section of CLAT Exam 2020. It is believed that a candidate can answer this section in about 25 minutes only. Through this section, analysis of candidates’ logical foundation of a given argument, situation, and axioms defining the statement is whether true or false can be done. Current Affairs: 5 pillars to build self- reliant India

    Post Revision by

    Neha Gore

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation on 12 May 2020 amidst the lockdown due to the COVID- 19 outbreak. In his speech, Modi talked about lockdown 4.0 to be different than the previous three lockdowns. Modi encouraged the citizens to buy and promote local products to help the Indian economy. Purchasing goods made in India will help the poor class like the street hawkers, daily wages workers and others to support themselves in a better way.

PM Modi announced a special economic package worth Rs 20 lakh crores for supporting people like farmers, labourers, honest taxpayers, MSME's and cottage industry.

In his appeal to make a self-reliant India and fight against coronavirus, Modi mentioned the 5 most important pillars that can help us do so.

    • An economy that brings a quantum jump, not just incremental change
    • An infrastructure that becomes the hallmark of modern India
    • The cycle of demand and supply in our economy, the power that needs to be harnessed to its full potential
    • Self-Reliant India with our vibrant demography as our strength and source of energy
    • Technology-driven systems that fulfil the dreams of the 21st century, not the policy of the past century
