The Staff Selection Commission has issued a notice on its official website regarding wide speculation on the cancellation of the Combined Graduate Level (Tier-I) examination. According to the official notice there is no cancellation or postponement of CGL Tier-I exam, which means the exam is slated to be held on 27th August 2016. However, the dates for SSC CGL (Tier-2) exam will be officially announced soon.
Scheme of Examination for SSC CGL (Tier-I )
The exam will consist of the following four section namely:
- General Intelligence & Reasoning (25 Questions)
- General Awareness (25 Questions)
- Quantitative Aptitude (25 Questions)
- English Comprehension (25 Questions)
This year the Selection Commission has introduced a Descriptive Paper of Hindi/English as Tier – III. Candidates will have the option to choose any one medium.
Candidates are requested not to rely on such baseless speculations. In case a change is introduced in SSC CGL (Tier I) exam then candidates will be intimated in advance by placing a notice on SSC website.
